Bread Pudding

I've been craving the bread pudding my mom used to make when we were kids lately. I called her tonight for the recipe and stuck one in the oven (it took about 3 minutes to prepare and 30 minutes to bake). I love how when I call my mom for a recipe she can usually just call it out off the top of her head. Apparently it was my dad's mom that showed her how to make it.

Recipe
Butter six slices of bread, stack and cut stack into cubes. In separate bowl combine 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix bread pieces and mixture together, add cinnamon to taste. Place in greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

You can also add fruit, nuts, coconut, etc. I like mine plain. So good.
